Communion of Christian Churches
Welcome
Welcome to the Communion of Christian Churches International’s (CCCI) Website
The CCCI is a family of autonomous and independent churches in communion with other Christ-based churches throughout the world. We believe that the CCCI should be a place where people can come to grow in their faith, to connect with others, and to find a sense of belonging. We are a welcoming and inclusive community, and we hope you will join us. These webpages showcase something of the work of the member Churches, official networks and commissions, and the CCCI Office.
And he is the head of the body, the church…
Colossians 1:18
As Christians, we come from different parts of the world but are united in Christ “who is the head of the Church and Savior of the Body”
Ephesians 5:23
Our Organization
What is the Communion of Christian Churches
The Communion of Christian Churches is part of the universal Church of Jesus Christ - the one holy, catholic and apostolic Church. Disagreements and schisms over the centuries have led to a multitude of denominations. The CCCI is active in ecumenism and enjoys official dialogue with a number of partners, including Catholic. Orthodox, Eastern Orthodox, Lutheran, Methodist, Reformed, Pentecostal and nondenominational organizations as well.
The mission of the CCC I is embodied in the Mission of Christ
To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom,
To teach, baptize and nurture new believers,
To respond to human need by loving service.
Our motto is: “To Love And To Serve All”
A Communion Fully Evangelical
The CCCI is a Communion holding to a high view of the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, believing them to contain all things necessary for salvation; nothing can be taught as necessary for salvation that is not contained therein. We are committed to the preaching of the Gospel to fulfill the great commission. We believe that we are saved by grace alone and justified by faith in Christ who is calling us to a personal relationship with Him.
The Convergence Movement
The convergence movement is a coming together of the three major historic branches of the Church, i.e., the Liturgical/Sacramental, the Evangelical, and the Charismatic. Each of these expressions of the Church of Jesus Christ have been carefully nurtured by God and greatly used to establish and expand the His work on earth. “Father, that they maybe one even as we are one,” was the prayer of our Lord. Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us that, “ a cord of the three strands is not easily broken.” When the three strands of God’s Church are braided together there will be a new strength and unity in the church as hasn’t been seen since the apostolic age.
